When President Trump signed the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act in 2017, he kept a promise that working families and small businesses had been waiting on for decades. The corporate tax rate dropped from 35 percent to 21 percent, which brought investment and jobs back home. The standard deduction nearly doubled. The child tax credit went from $1,000 to $2,000 per child. Washington was also told to clear out two old regulations for every new one it wrote.

The results showed up where it counts. By 2019, unemployment had fallen to 3.5 percent, the lowest in about 50 years. Wages were rising fastest for the workers who had waited the longest for a raise. That's what happens when a leader trusts the American people to build, hire and grow.

That story is the heart of Growth Agenda, Book #2 in The Patriot Calling series. It makes the full case for Trump-era tax and deregulation policy, what was done, why it worked, and why it still matters.
