6 Days Until New Book!

Six days. That's how close we are to The Patriot Calling being released! My first ever book.  There's a particular kind of excitement that comes from almost finishing something you've poured real time and conviction into. The case I wanted to make is made but I am working on ensuring that the finished product is refined for all.

I keep thinking about the first time this book was just a stack of notes and a stubborn idea that I couldn't let go of and that the policy story of this moment deserved to be told clearly. Watching that idea turn into an actual book has been the most satisfying thing.

A few things I'm genuinely looking forward to once August 30 hits:

  • Hearing what you think — agreement, pushback, all of it. A book like this is supposed to start conversations, not end them.
  • Finally being able to talk specifics instead of teasers. There are chapters I've been dying to discuss and couldn't, because you hadn't read them yet.
  • Seeing this thing in an actual Amazon cart.

If you're planning to grab it the day it drops, I want to thank you. Genuinely. Writing something you believe in is one thing but having people show up for it is another and it means more than I probably know how to say in a blog post.
